Deny links in Google Webmaster Tools
Google had announced that the links of bad qualities could penalize the referencing and that it was therefore necessary to try to remove them to avoid the "negative referencing". Google now offers a tool to list spam URLs that link to your site. Attention, it is to use with a lot of precaution and only if you are initiated to the referencing!
Historical
For the uninitiated, I remind you that links allow Google to determine the popularity of pages. This is mainly what allows it to propose relevant results. However, there are more or less malicious people trying to deceive Google by generating thousands of links to their sites in an automated way. To fight, one of the latest algorithms called Google Penguin (April 2012) analyzes better the linking of sites to detect if the links are of qualities or not. When a site receives too many artificial links, it may be penalized in the search results. Moreover, many sites suffered big slaps at the launch of the update.
Obvious problem of negative SEO
This Google update has jostled the work of many SEO. Obtaining quality links has become more complicated and less automated. At the same time, the beautiful algorithm Penguin which Google is so proud, opens the door to negative SEO. In other words, if a competitor annoys you, you just have to make many spam links to his site to be almost sure that the latter drops in the SERP (search results pages). In your opinion, what does Google think of a site that receives 95% of links from spam sites or pornographic sites?
New tool in Google Webmasters Tools
To avoid obvious abuse, Google has launched a brand new tool to refuse incoming links. This can be useful if a competitor has played you a bad shot, but it can also be useful if you have hired an SEO agency with questionable practices in the past. In this tool, available at https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/disavow-links-main?hl=en, in a text file the URLs of the pages to be ignored (or sites) are sufficient that we must ignore. Be careful, before using it, read the rest of this article!
This tool is found in Google's Webmaster Tools. Make sure you have not given access to a third person. If a competitor can access your tool, he or she may refuse a long list.
The problem with the tool is that Google will probably not only use it to just ignore links for your site. If you use this tool, it will "prove" to Google that you have potentially used poorly recommended net linking techniques. Similarly, if people to whom you are linking refuse your links via this tool, Google may think that you are a spam site.
Using the tool
The use is simple. Start by making a list of the pages or sites that make you a link and that you wish to refuse, following these recommendations:
Write one URL per line
If you want to reject links that come from a page, just specify its URL
If you want to deny links from an entire site, use this syntax:
domain: example-spam.com
For sub domains, it's the same thing:
domain: blog.example-spam.com
Do not put space
Add comments if you wish after a # sign
The file must not exceed 2MB (if it is the case, you have no luck or you deserve your sanction)
Once the file is created, simply go to https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/disavow-links-main?hl=en, select the relevant site and submit the text file. Google will consider your list but can not know exactly how long it will take.
Use the tool if you have received a link in Google Webmasters Tools notifying you that you receive too many artificial links. And after that, think about making a request for re-examination to Google by signaling that you have used the tool.s are invited to enrich Wix with new features. In addition, if you have an online service and want to expand your panel of users, you can work on the creation of a Wix application, it will earn you users and visibility. On a personal note, I recommend to all young developers to take a look at this market because there will probably be less competition than in the mobile market.
